Denis Patrick Kelleher
Denis P. Kelleher joined the Firm in July 2009. Mr. Kelleher received his B.A. from Skidmore College
in 1989 (in Government)and his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 1993. Before joining the Firm, Mr. Kelleher was in private practice from 1998 to the present, and an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County from 1993 to 1998. He represents clients in white-collar federal criminal actions and regulatory investigations, in securities arbitrations, and in other commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on criminal actions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kelleher served for five years as a prosecutor in the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office. Rising to the level of a Senior Assistant District Attorney, he successfully took numerous criminal trials to verdict, including murder, narcotics trafficking, and other violent felonies. While in private practice he has represented many individuals and obtained favorable verdicts and dismissal of charges including securities, bank, wire, insurance and healthcare fraud as well as racketeering, murder, extortion and money laundering cases.
