Raffi Melkonian

Raffi Melkonian joined the Firm in 2011.

Mr. Melkonian received his J.D. (cum laude) from Harvard Law School in 2005, and also holds an M.A. in Modern History (1st Class Honours) from the University of St. Andrews and an M. Phil in Modern History from Cambridge University.  From 2006-2010, Mr. Melkonian was associated with the firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where he represented corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of matters, including securities fraud class actions, disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property litigation.  He has also worked as an Assistant Solicitor General for the State of New York, where he briefed and argued cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and in the New York state appellate courts.  In addition, Mr. Melkonian has served as a law clerk to Judge Jennifer Walker Elrod of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and to Vice Chancellor Stephen P. Lamb of the Delaware Court of Chancery.  Mr. Melkonian is a member of the New York Bar.
